When I met Raelynn and began working on her wedding, we instantly clicked.  She is the sweetest little southern thing, and she and her fiancé are such a truly special couple.  They have been together nearly 9 years (all through high school and college) and when you watch them together you would think it’s still early puppy love.  They are so adorable, and it was such a pleasure to work with them.

The ceremony took place at Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon.  We lined the aisles with bells of Ireland pomander balls, and framed the pews with black iron candlesticks and birdcages dripping with fresh green flora.  We also draped the bride and groom chairs with white sheer fabric and damask ribbon – don’t overlook this element in your ceremony by having a gorgeous church aisle and ugly chairs as a focal point!  Shout out to Jana at Events in Bloom for her incredible floral design work!!

The bridesmaids wore black silk cocktail dresses accented with bright green ribbon sashes, and carried fresh hydrangea bouquets.  The bride carried a nosegay bouquet of cream roses with touches of sparkling crystals.

As guests arrived at the cocktail hour, they enjoyed live mariachi music while socializing in front of Lake Mirror.  Upon entering the reception hall, guests found their escort cards nested atop a Plexiglas display full of glowing hydrangea blossoms.  Overhead, assorted black frames showcased memories of the bride and groom during their nine year relationship.  More pictures adorned other accessory tables like the guest book table, cake table, and favor table.

Dinner tables featured alternating black solid and damask linens, with bright citron chair sashes tied around the glossy black chairs.   Tall black glass vases balanced large hydrangea balls dripping with clear crystals as centerpieces for the damask tables, while clear vases lit with LEDs balanced low heritage bowls cradling black river rocks and a fountain of long leaf grass as centerpieces for the solid black tables.

The wedding cake consisted of chocolate and vanilla layered with buttercream frosting, with black ribbon and crystal trim, and topped with a bedazzled monogram.  We backlit the cake table with a bright green can light.

Guests danced the night away while enjoying traditional Mexican beats blended with country ballads and pop hits.  And before departing, guests received koozie favors paired with bubby bottled beverages.

The entire night was a huge success and everything came together beautifully.  At the end of the night I said to the bride, “You see, all that worrying for what?  Everything is perfect” and she couldn’t agree more.  Congratulations again Raelynn & Jose – you guys are incredible and I love you to pieces!!
