Ahoy there!  Another successful Bridal Show just flew right by!  I tell you, it seems like just the other day when we wrapped up our "Taste of Tampa" Show, and already it was time for another one!!  This time the lovely Palmetto Club at Fishhawk Ranch hosted the event.  In light of the surroundings, we decided to incorporate a Yacht Club type theme for the event, with nautical touches throughout.  Hoist the sails and relax and we drift through a quick recap of the evening.

We decided to treat guests to glasses of champagne as they entered the venue, but it seemed only fitting that we serve Sea Breeze Mimosas to introduce our Seaside motif - and boy were they delicious!!

Guests were ushered to the property's large Veranda for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.  Wicker patio sets surrounded the buffet tables, and overlooked the beautiful garden area where we created a fantastic faux ceremony setup with a circular arrangement of garden chairs.  This setup provides a more intimate feel to the ceremony because it allows better views for all of your guests; perhaps you'll feel inspired enough to try this for your nuptials.

While snacking on mini franks-in-a-blanket, smoke salmon on black bread, and fresh fruits with gourmet cheeses, guests were romanced by the nearby string trio.

Before we knew it the time came to open the ballroom doors and invite the guests inside for more delicious food and mingling with top wedding vendors.  As guests socialized in the hallway before the unveiling, they enjoyed the smooth tunes of a jazz guitarist, and sipped on custom fruit-infused waters like cucumber lemon water and cranberry lime water, and even refreshing wine spritzers from the open bars.

In the center of the room we created a large feasting table which comfortably seated nearly 30 guests.  We draped the feasting table in striped navy blue linen with crisp white table runners, and surrounded it with white Chiavari chairs.  The florist created striking manzanita branch centerpieces accented with gorgeous gold orchids perched along the arms. She then scattered tin buckets of varying sizes filled with blue and white hydrangeas, yellow roses, larkspur, and ribbons of grass.  We completed the look with dozens of tealights nestled in tiny pale blue glass jars.  The result was truly stunning!

Along the sides of the feasting table we placed large round tables draped with dusty blue damask fabric and topped with large tin buckets brimming with fresh flowers.  Along the perimeter we placed hightop tables topped with navy pintuck linens and crinkled blue-gold linens, topped with petite hydrangea centerpieces or tin lanterns atop woven rattan chargers.  Our stationer created unique table name cards in the form of origami sailboats, each with nautical terminology names like 'Starboard,' 'Galley,' and 'Spinnaker'!!  Aren't they spectacular!?

Lining the room were the delicious food stations such as the ever-so-popular cupcake station (with my new favorite filling - Pumpkin Mousse - YUM!) and the mashed potato bar featuring garlic mashed potatoes or sweet potatoes served in martini glasses, sprinkled with assorted toppings like savory crumbled bacon, or sweet mini marshmallows!  Just thinking about it now makes my mouth water!

And let's not forget the fabulous vendors present, like the airbrush makeup artist, photobooth, and videographer!  This event is by invitation only, meaning we hand-select only the top-quality, most incredible wedding professionals to participate, and they never disappoint.

Although the event was about 2 hours long it felt like it went by in about 20 minutes!  You know what they say, 'time flies when you're having fun'.  Would you like to experience the food and fun of one of these events?  Contact us today to find out more information about our next show!!
