Yesterday we participated in the Catering by the Family summer Bridal Show at the beautiful Davis Islands Garden Club. For those of you who attended, you know what I'm talking about when I say the food was amazing and the tables and decor looked gorgeous! If you're considering hiring this company to cater your wedding, may I suggest the potato string wrapped shrimp in the delicious wasabi chili dipping sauce?! HOLY COW! And the beef short ribs with the mashed cauliflower?! It's making my mouth water again just thinking about it! Back to what I was blogging about...
We created a beautiful tablescape inspired by an Indian-themed wedding, full of beautiful jewel tones and unique glassware. We began our inspiration by creating a pink and orange wedding invitation trimmed with gold fringe and accented with a pink beaded elephant motif.
Our table was draped with an orange damask linen topped with a teal crinkle overlay. Place settings featured gold chargers topped with gold-rimmed china, mini glazed plates, lime bubbled egg glasses, and folded napkins with silver elephant napkin rings. LOVE!! Beside the plates we filled amber bubbled tumblers with sesame breadsticks.
Our centerpiece sat on a fuchsia dupioni silk placemat trimmed with gold fringe. A solid wood carved elephant supported the gold toothed-glass vase bursting with vibrant flowers like peruvian lilies, black-eyed gerbera daisies, orange pincushion protea, goldenrod, kermit mums, and fresh pears. We surrounded the centerpiece with patterned glass votives. At each place setting were gold chiavari chairs loaded with colorful silk pillows to complete the look.
We hope you've enjoyed this table setting and found some inspiration! There's plenty more where this came from! Contact us today so we can begin creating the event of your dreams!!
